Pop Art + Collage
Our community of children, teens and adults from Stockbridge, Edinburgh and beyond constantly wow us with their creativity. Children and teenagers can start from any level, and can join our classes and courses from ages 7-15 years to build their creative skills and confidence.
We’re big fans of Pop Art at Submarine, and use collage across lots of our courses. Our Magazine Club recently had a go at some space-themed cut-out poetry - we’re spoilt for choice on examples, but Ellen’s ‘age is stupidity’ particularly sticks with us. We also had a great time ‘painting with collage’ - this time on a bird theme. Nate’s penguin and Noelle’s bird both are brilliant examples of some of the fantastic work created by our Friday Art Club, alongside Julian’s meticulously cut out geometric bird too.
Our Street Art group combined collage and Pop Art in their expressive and striking collages - check out Ivy’s dot-themed art and Scott’s bold lineart!
