Street Art
Our children and teenagers at Submarine constantly create artworks and projects of incredible creativity and skill here in Stockbridge. Children and teenagers can start from any level, and can join our classes from ages 7+ to build their artistic skills. We introduce our students to the world of Street Art through a variety of techniques, including collage, stencilling, digital mural designs and more.
Our group murals continue to be a firm favourite at Submarine. We’ve recently finished our ‘Where isn’t Wally’ mural, a sequel to our huge ‘Where is everyone?’ mural last year. We’re keen to do another massive map again - our Edinburgh map redesign was great fun for all of us, with everyone across the week joining in.
Street Art finished up an exciting ‘Big Snacks’ challenge recently - check out Eilidh’s giant KitKat and Kaz’s giant tea bag! We’ve also been making use of mixed media and collage to create sketches and artworks featuring pop culture characters and students’ drawings.
